GIN AND TONIC

I don't really drink spirits, sticking to beer and wine. I don't like whisky, rum or most liqueurs, an occasional cognac is the most I would go for.

However, there is one drink I do quite like and that is a gin and tonic. Not all the year round, but in the summer, when it is hot. With lots of ice, and a big slice of lemon, served before dinner.

I suspect I like it because it tastes pretty much like tonic water and I drink it in the same way, in large gulps. I had two this evening, they were very nice.
